Part-Time Administrative Assistant

The Women’s Entrepreneur Society of Corpus Christi is looking for a responsible part-time Administrative Assistant 10 hours a week to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties include providing support to our President and Board of Directors, assisting in daily organizational needs, and managing general administrative activities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answer and direct emails and social media inquiries

  • Organize and schedule appointments

  • Prepare agendas, minutes, and other documents for Board, Founder, and General Meetings

  • Write and distribute email, group texts, letters, and forms

  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports

  • Develop and maintain a filing system

  • Update and maintain organization policies and procedures

  • Maintain contact lists

  • Submit and reconcile expense reports

  • Provide general support to prospective members and donors

  • Act as the point of contact for the organization

  • Assist with event logistics as needed

  • Work remotely during agreed upon hours


  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or virtual assistant

  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

  • Working knowledge of email and basic social media communication 

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel, specifically) and cloud storage (i.e Google Drive, One Drive, Dropbox, etc.)

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

  • High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
